US Fed holds rates, inflation still a hurdle

As was expected, on Wednesday, the US Federal Reserve voted to keep interest rates steady as inflation remains elevated, and uncertainty persists over the trajectory of inflation. The federal funds rate remains at 5.25-5.5 per cent.
